Waterfall: What Lies Beyond the Bend

You chose where worlds meet — where water leaves one path and becomes another.

In summer, movement is everywhere.

Streams swell from distant rain.

The forest grows thick around them.

The air hums with life.

And the river continues its journey through places it has never seen before.

Then it reaches the edge.

The waterfall does not pause there.

It does not search for certainty.

It does not demand to know what waits below.

It simply follows the course that brought it there.

The water disappears from sight for a moment.

And then emerges again.

Changed.

Still itself.

But no longer where it was before.

The path continues, even when you cannot see beyond the bend.

There are times when life feels like standing at the top of the falls.

The next stretch hidden from view.

The landing uncertain.

The distance impossible to measure.

And yet something within you already knows that remaining where you are is not the answer.

Not because where you are is wrong.

But because movement has become part of the season.

Summer rarely asks us to stay exactly where we began.

The waterfall does not know every turn of the river.

It does not see every stone waiting below.

It simply continues.

And the river reveals itself one stretch at a time.
