Ashley’s Workshop

Automatic Writing: Practice, Discipline & Lived Experience
Saturday, October 17, 2026
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Automatic Writing has long existed at the intersection of spiritual tradition, psychology, and creative trance states — yet it is often dismissed as performance or imagination. In this grounded and experiential workshop, Ashley Wong introduces the practice as a disciplined skill developed through intention, structure, and lived experience.

Having begun her own practice in 1999, Ashley approaches Automatic Writing as something cultivated over time through repetition and discernment. Drawing from personal case studies and historical context — including documented family lineage connected to late 19th-century trance and divinatory traditions — she explores how written channeling can evolve into a meaningful and verifiable practice.

Participants will be guided through a contained, beginner-friendly exercise designed to introduce the writing state in a safe and supportive environment. No prior experience is required.

Meet Ashley During the Event

Ashley will also have a table available on Saturday, October 17 where attendees can stop by to ask questions following the Automatic Writing workshop and learn more about her work.
